I'm not like old school wedding photographers.  Every photographer has their own unique style and approach to weddings that reflects their personality.  The definition of a traditional wedding photographer is "characterized by lots of direction, involvement and control from the photographer."  That's just NOT me.  I do not want my clients talking to me more than they talk to their parents or spouse on their big day! Aside from the portraits, I get in the middle of the action and document all those real, beautiful, raw, emotional moments with minimal interruption, so you can relax and enjoy your day without someone directing your every movement.

I strive to make my clients feel comfortable. Oh, I get it...being in front of a camera can be awkward! During your formal portraits, I will talk you through the process so you’re not standing there wondering what to do with your hands. Even shy couples rock their portraits!

I really care about my couples.   I take the time to learn my couple's story and all the exciting wedding day details. I want nothing more than to make you happy and feel supported during the wedding planning process. On the big day, I have been known to help bustle a dress, provide words of encouragement when something goes wrong, and be cool and collected.

Lastly but most importantly, I am not here to disrupt your day but to capture and compliment it. I won’t be in your face, telling you how to stand, making your bridal party hate their lives with endless group pictures. It’s one of the biggest and best days of your life and the last thing you need is a controlling photographer. I’m friendly, approachable and direct enough to get a handful of group shots done quickly so you have more time to relax and actually enjoy your wedding!
