Kate & Mack's Intimate, Tiny, Rainy Wedding Day in New Orleans

Intimate, tiny weddings and elopements are so much fun to experience. Even though the guest list is small, nothing is lost with a tiny wedding. Actually, it seems that couples get a unique experience that's quite rare. She still puts on a beautiful gown, he still gets nervous, the vows are promised, and champagne is popped. But more than that, you get to really connect with your spouse. You get to have meaningful conversations with your the few guests. You get to remember it all because there's minimal distraction.

Kate & Mack's wedding day was the epitome of memorable. As I arrived at Hotel Monteleone, the rain was steadily drizzling but I held out that it would clear for their outdoor ceremony at Audubon. But, as luck would have it, the rain didn't stop until I was in the car on the way home. But this couple took the weather gracefully and embraced it by saying their vows under umbrellas held by their family.

PS - Their dog is completely unimpressed by me. Haha!

Amanda & Christopher's Wedding Day at the Ezell House

When I first met Amanda & Christopher, I thought to myself "this has to be the sweetest, most laid back couple of all time!" and they definitely confirmed that on their wedding day! When I pulled up to the Ezell House, the rain was steadily coming down but I told myself that by the ceremony time it would clear out. Well, I was wrong, haha! But, this happy couple and their guests didn't let a little rain get in their way of a great day! They had a beautiful ceremony and partied the night away! When it was time for their exit, the groom's mother surprised them with a vintage taxi cab to whisk them away!  Shout out to the groom's mother Lisa #unicornsister!

Here's a few of my favorite shots from this perfect, sweet, rainy, fun day at the Ezell House in Mobile, Alabama.

Sarah & Greg's Stunning Spring Wedding at Kalioka Stables

When I met Sarah and Greg to chat about their wedding, I knew I was in for a beautiful, relaxed day. And I wasn't wrong! The weather on their wedding day was flawless. It was sunny but with an amazing breeze that kept everyone from in good spirits. (It really is a mood booster when you're not sweating to death on your wedding day, haha!) The ceremony and reception took place at the gorgeous Kalioka Stables overlooking the lake on the property. Following their ceremony was a beautiful reception lit by string lights while guests danced underneath and enjoyed a lot of delicious wine. I would know because this amazing couple sent me home with two bottles.. Did I mention I love them?! ;)

Emily & Shannon's Benachi House Wedding

The Benachi House in New Orleans is such a gorgeous venue for an outdoor wedding! Emily and Shannon chose to get married on the front steps in October of this year. The weather was perfect, they all looked amazing, and everyone had such a good time! Their ceremony was pure perfection and so heartfelt with hand written vows (even stopped people in the street to watch!) Everyone was both laughing and crying! Check out a few highlights of their awesome day!
