What kind of photographer are you? I would describe my approach as photojournalistic, relaxed, and fun! Formal portraits are important and I love setting aside time in your day to capture mantle-worthy images that you'll cherish for the rest of your life. However, aside from that time, I want you to be present in your day. Drink champagne, laugh with your friends, dance wildly, dig into cake, and have the time of your life! I will be there ninja-ing around to capture all your raw, emotional, funny, amazing moments as you enjoy them!
We are awkward in front of the camera. What do we do with our hands? Everyone is awkward in front of the camera unless you're a Kardashian. (And if you're a Kardashian, I am booked...indefinitely.) I will talk you through the entire process, capture real moments and authentic smiles; all the while I'm making sure that you look your best with beautiful portraits you'll be proud to display!
How long will it take for us to get our images? Awesome news! You'll get a sneak peek of a few images usually within 24-48 hours so you will get to share quality images instead of blurry cell phone shots! You'll receive your full gallery within 4-5 weeks.
What is required to book? A non-refundable 50% retainer along with a signed contract will secure your day.
Are you a full time photographer or is this your hobby? I'm a full time photographer! I don't work anywhere else and rarely shoot anything but weddings. By doing so, I'm able to devote all my attention to my couples. Some part time photographers may only do a couple wedding each year; but in 2017 I captured over 30 weddings which keeps me from getting rusty!
Do you carry backup equipment? Absolutely! There's nothing more important that having a system in place for equipment failures so rest assured that I have you covered.
Are you taking my big day seriously? You're not like a typical wedding photographer. Don't be fooled by my lighthearted manner; I know the planning, time and dedication you've put into your wedding is very important. As my references know, I will be early, prepared, polite, and hard working!
Ok, we are ready to book! What next? Email me ASAP to check availability. If I'm available, we can schedule an in person meeting, phone call, or Skype to chat to make sure we are a good match for your wedding day. After that, I just need a signed contract and retainer to secure your date!
